Padula and Pertosa

Monuments of the man and nature

Departure toward Padula, visit to the Certosa of S. Lorenzo (1306), which is one of the largest monuments in the south of Italy and covers 32.000 mqs. Transfer to Pertosa. Lunch in a restaurant. Continuation with a guide to the Grotte Dell’Angelo, which are a unique natural beauty constituted of a little lake that you can navigate a cross by boat, water falls, stalactites and stalagmites with a fanciful shape.

Baia Infreschi

Natural Port
Spaghettata, caponata and wine

Departure from the port of Palinuro and arrival to the natural port of Baia degli Infreschi, hussing the coast along beaches, coves, creeks. Stop for all the time in one of the most beautiful beach of Cilento. Spaghettata. Return journey in the afternoon. 



Palinuro: sea caves and beaches

Sea caves and beaches

Departure from the port on board of typical motor-boat. Sight seeing to some of the innumerable caves of the coast, as Grotta Azzurra, Argento, Sangue, Monaci.
Sight seeing to the beaches of Buon Dormire, Mingardo and to the imposing Arco Naturale, with break to swim.

Baia Buondormire

A day to the seaside

You’ll reach the Buon Dormire, the beach which is the symbol of the locality, sailing along Capo Palinuro on board of typical fisherman motor-boat. The name, which was given to the beach from the fishermen, let you imagine the peculiarity of the natural bay. Stop in the beach for all the time. Return jouney in the afternoon.



Maratea

Nature suspended between sky and sea

Maratea is the only outlet of Basilicata on the Tyrrhenian Sea and it wedges oneself in the Gulf of Policastro with its 30 km of coast, between the Campania and the Calabria. It has an expansive hilly terrain, reaching mountains and the sea.

One day through the centuries

Through the Medieval village of Pisciotta, renowned for the olive-oil, you’ll come to Elea - Velia, the city in Magna Grecia made famous thanks to the philosophers Parmenides and Zeno, which are some of the founders of the modern thought. After the sight seeing you’ll go on to Vallo Della Lucania, historic capital of Cilento and jealous keeper of noble achievements during the rebellion in Cilento (18281848). From Vallo, through oak-trees, turkey oaks, flowering ashes, alder-trees, chestnut-trees, brooms, ferns beeches, maples, you’ll come at the foot of Monte Gelbison, on which top rises the 2nd highest sanctuary in Italy (1.700 mts. above sea-level). Stop for lunch. In the afternoon you’ll pass through one of the most suggestive spots in the park, the wood of Bruca, where, if you have luck, you’ll see peregrine falcons, imperial ravens, grackles. Stop to Futani, sight seeing to the village of S.Severino. Sight seeing to the gorge of Mingardo river and to a farm in which you can taste the local products.

Lezioni di cucina
per gruppi di ospiti max 12 pax escluso il mese di agosto, si effettuano al mattino dopo colazione. Gli chef illustrano le regole basilari della cucina e come riconoscere la bontà della materia prima, si preparano dei piatti con relativo abbinamento dei vini.

Visita ad una Azienda Vinicola
Visita ad un azienda con illustrazione sulla lavorazione del vino, degustazione di alcuni vini accompagnati da prodotti tipici (salumi, vari tipi di formaggi, verdure, pane casareccio).

Pescaturismo
con partenza alle 06.00, imbarco al porto di Palinuro per raggiungere i pescatori al largo. Si assiste alla tirata delle reti con la sistemazione del pescato rientro previsto in tarda mattinata.

Immersioni
I fondali di Palinuro apprezzati e conosciuti in tutto il mondo, offrono la possibilità di partecipare ad interessanti immersioni guidate ed in gruppo.

Visita ad un allevamento di bufale con illustrazione delle tecniche di produzione e della lavorazione della mozzarella. Degustazione dei prodotti dell’zienda: mozzarella, yoghurt, ricotta..

Giornate tematiche con la presenza di esperti che illustreranno agli ospiti nozioni e istruzioni su: produzioni biologiche, vino novello, olio novello, pasta fatta in casa, dolci tipici, erbe di campo, formaggio, castagne, funghi, fichi, carni.
